Heroin, Cocaine and Meth Worth $325,000 Hidden in Dodge Pickup

On Friday, August 12, a 62-year-old man from Magdalena de Kino, Sonora driving a Dodge pickup was directed to secondary inspection at the DeConcini Port of Entry in Downtown Nogales.
During an inspection of the vehicle, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers found a significant quantity of hard drugs, worth an estimated value of $325,000 hidden in the rear area of the pickup’s cab.
The seizure included five pounds of heroin valued at more than $94,000; more than 15 pounds of cocaine, valued at $171,000; and more than 20 pounds of methamphetamine, with an estimated value of $60,000.
